If Taissa, Gaboury and Evan return, or if Ryan generally makes a pointless character to give a role to someone.

Cher and Gaga in the same season of AHS would literally be the greatest thing ever.

LaNathan, I was interested in seeing what you had to say after the idea you sent me some time back

I was honestly shocked that it was a hotel when I proposed a motel
It just seems like this season will be my dream since it's like my original idea (setting-wise but the plot most likely will be 100% different) and also has my fave in a lead role! I'm definitely hyped for this season even more now and I hope Ryan can "re-invent" the show and save the show from the lashing that Freakshow and Coven got.

I'm just so bitter about Coven, since Ryan INSISTED the Supreme was among Misty/Madison/Zoe/Queenie, and three of them DIED as a result of things going on in the seven wonders (Even though that dumb waste Zoe came back), but NONE of them were the Supreme.

A boring character doesn't always mean a bad character. Cordelia is boring, but she has a clearly defined, logical arc that fits the story and reaches a reasonable resolution. That doesn't make her bad.
I've already discussed Elsa. Also, you seem biased in that your leading argument is that it's similar to her past characters. You're not judging Elsa by herself.
Violet did have moments of being stereotypical and trite, but, for the most part, I thought she was very well-written. Taissa's acting didn't do any favors, but, as someone who's experienced long episodes of clinical depression, the script isn't too far off-base.
Ethel is an interesting case. I have mixed opinions on her.

Script is actually my primary objection TO Violet, not acting (though Taissa certainly doesn't help) As someone who has clinical depression, Violet pisses me off since I felt she was a shallow and incredibly stereotypical, inaccurate portrayal of it. (Of course the one character with depression across all four seasons is a loner who likes creepy weird things, dresses like a fashion-blind hipster, doesn't fit in at all in school, has no friends, and likes creepy bad boys -___-) If I was ranking people insanely low on ACTING, Ben would definitely have made that list over, say, Kyle (who's well acted enough but suuuucks as a character)
I wouldn't call Cordelia bad by any stretch of my imagination. She's not awful, just boring. The question was who are the worst leads the show has seen though, and being boring amongst a group of (mostly) interesting characters gets you there. But yeah, not awful
To be fair, I'd apply that to Fiona as well, who makes my top 10 of the series. I genuinely don't find Elsa interesting even IGNORING that it's Jessica's fourth time playing that kind of role. I know we're meant to see that she loves the freaks, but I don't think her actions match up with that supposed love at all, and I honestly hated her "I want to be famous!" speeches we got every episode. I'm glad you liked her, but i honestly could not stand her. As for biased, aren't personal opinions on the best/worst characters naturally going to be biased, lol?

Wait, did he really? Wow, Cordelia was so obvious he actually lied. I called her from, like, episode 5. Tho I didn't have interviews to go with so

The characteristics of the depression were stereotypical. I found her interactions in her depression interestung to watch. Violet was depressed, and took solace in Tate (despite him being clearly messed up). As she emerged from the depression (following her death), she was able to think clearly and rationally. The actions and thought process toward suicide hit close to home for me, too, so that may make me favor her.
We'll just have to disagree, I suppose.

Not when we have pages full of things Zoe said and the entire transcripts of Show Stoppers.
That line was pretty funny; it felt like the script itself covered how awful it was with how Vivien was laughing at it.

Today during school, I made a few lil charts of which main cast characters interacted with each other from each season; Jessica's characters interact with every one of the fellow main characters for each season. The lowest amount of interaction was a tie between Gloria & Larry, only interacting with 4 other characters in their seasons. I think there was someone else who only had 4, but I don't have the chart with me right now.

To me, I never really saw that point where her depressive episode really ended. It felt like they were trying to portray Violet as though she was just always depressed (and then, yeah, the angsty teen stuff annoyed me) I sorta see what you're getting at, tho
Sounds good to me. I think we'll just need to do that with Elsa too. Dif people with dif opinions.
