I don't like Gaga much but am I the only one that doesn't see the last promo push she did over the weekend as desperate or pathetic? I mean looking at the current numbers, it's a dead heat for number 1. Having knowledge of this before the end of the week, why not try your best to secure the number 1? If you have a large fanbase, why not take advantage of that and use them to help sell your record? I just don't get it

People in here say that it doesn't matter if she gets that number 1 or not but IT DOES, someone who brings that much media attention to herself would once again be attacked by the media for "flopping" "underperforming" etc. She was heavily attacked by the media last year so she kind of needs a break from bad press, gettin a Number 1 with a Jazz album(even if it's a shared effort) would definitevely help clean up her image a bit, so i agree using a part of her fan base to secure a number 1on BB that gives an album prestige is not something to be ashamed of.
