No.. US joined WWII because Japan attacked Pearl Harbor... then Germany declared war on US and vice versa.
You're talking about WWI. German submarines sunk a British liner and 128 Americans on board died and that's how we joined WWI.

For example, the rule on why you shouldn't inflate your life jacket in the airplane? Seems weird right? It's because if there was water in the cabin you could be trapped at the top. These conspiracy theories need to stop.
This is SO important. Never ever EVER inflate your life jacket until you're out of the cabin and swimming freely to the surface. Countless people have died by pulling their life jackets before impact. They all get trapped in the fuselage and drown.

Yes. That could have happened to anyone. Commercial flight, I can't talk about military ones. But this is scenario is unheard. First time ever witnessing this thing. People are saying that it happened in 1983 also and a U.S congresman was on board. There were talking in the media about Delta Airlines stopping their operations over Ukraine.
