The slayage
This song has been really growing on me!
I still think Move was the better lead single (this is gonna do better, but i prefer Move), but i'm starting to really like this too

No lies detected. But I've warmed up to Black Magic since it debuted.
Black Magic is more of a traditional classic pop anthem while Move took a rather experimental approach to pop music with its unusual chorus. I love both songs for their own reasons and strength, but am currently obviously more bopping to BM. I have to say I believe its the super catchy beat and lyrics, which are so easy to sing along, that make this song so good. Love it!
I think i like BM more, because of the "all the girls in the block knocking at my door" and the big catchy beat, but "Move" is more experimental and the representation of what Little Mix is all about, rhythm and harmony!
Black Magic is a perfect pop song and my favorite single of 2015 this year so far. Move took me ages to actually like it. It's alright, but it's one of their worst songs imo, and a better single choice would have been Competition tbh.
I'm not normally a fan of mashups, but this is a really great mashup with DJ Snake & Aluna George. Actually incorporates both songs quite well instead of literally just putting Black Magic's vocals and melody over the production of the other track. Give it a listen!!
But there's a downside to their activity on social media.
"Back in the Spice Girls era, you never had to see those negative comments," says Jade. "Anyone can say whatever they want."
As Zayn Malik's fiance, Perrie gets the bulk of the abuse, but Jesy has been left in tears by trolls criticising her weight.
"People just hide behind the computer," she says. "They'd never say it to your face. If you went up to them and said, 'tell us what you said on Twitter to my face' they'd be like, 'I'm sorry'."
So if they really could practice Black Magic, who would they cast a spell on?
"I've got a good one," says Leigh-Anne.
"You know all the evil Daily Mail commenters? The disgusting people that sit there and spew out awful things about everyone? I would make them fart all the time. All the time, they would just fart."
"I feel like you could have a better punishment than that," taunts Jesy. "Make them have no fingers so they can't type."
Sensing the tone is shifting, Jade attempts to play peacemaker.
"I'd mix a potion to make everyone positive. No more negativity," she says.
"The ingredients would be the sound of laughter, a bit of kindness, a bit of compassion... And a lot of vodka."
Not to get anyone's hopes up cause it's still very early, but I'm seeing people on other forums speculate this may even be able nab a second week at #1
