But it's still so awkward to see her perform. She literally looks like a robot, there's absolutely no charisma, no joy, no effortlessness. She's just trying to execute the next move and that's it.
She did a great job! It was the best TV performance she has given in literally almost 10 years. Very proud of her for working to be comfortable on the stage again.

It was decent. I won't go hard on her because honestly there's not much else she can do. Her style of music and performing is dated and no matter how much effort she puts into it it will always look and sound dated. Same thing as Madonna. But she did alright and she shined in some of the songs (Slave 4 U/Toxic)
I think my expectations were a little high but I did enjoy it, she looked amazing and I loved the ITZ album tracks being featured I still just don't quite get why she lip-syncs even spoken word parts
I swear they do a medley/tribute to her every few years like she's died or something.
Britney historically sets ratings highs (2001, 2011, 2015 for BBMAs) and so it's not a shock they'd throw her a huge tribute. Plus, she's been in the game for 3 decades now (almost 18 as a major label recording artist) and is the sixth most successful female of all-time. It makes sense that they'd be desperate to throw her a couple tributes.
