If you had told me two years ago that I'd be way more excited for a Drake release than a Kanye release I would have laughed in your face. Yet here we are in 2016
I'm refreshing right now and dying at the meltdowns.
It's great for what it is though. You'd think fans of hip hop would learn to appreciate **** like this of all people. I am kind of mad we're still not getting SWISH stuff/that it's basically Ye doing his best impression of Drake but some of the lyrics are great.
Who would appreciate their favorite artist releasing 2 minute GarageBand trap beats just cause? Like no.
Oh for sure. This is far weaker than Only One. Only One and Wolves are the best tracks from the project so far, because you're right, he's using his strength in melody on both.
But it is nice to have a bit of this to remind people that Ye isn't so removed from every other artist in his field and he can compete with his peers when he wants to.
Who are his peers to you? You think this is good and acceptable rap? I'm saying this is a hardcore Stan.

Same, I'm not even excited for SWISH anymore.
It's catchy but the Kimoji part made me cringe
