The part where he says people shouldn't take his mentions of them in songs personally, was directed to other artists. What does Xtina judging him have to do with anything? Still Kim is not a celebrity that he was poking fun at. And the fact he apologized for the whole gay issue and went through with the performance, shows he wasn't being serious about the words he used in his songs. If he meant it, he wouldn't have done all of that.
I don't understand how you people don't get Eminem. This is who he is. He pokes fun, he ruffles feathers. Doesn't mean that's how he is in reality.

I was pointing out how to take his songs as "not personal" is a lie. In reguards to that that's why I used the obvious as an example to support that and adding to the debate of his lyrics on women in general.
Other artists are going to take it personal. Especially ones that don't look at or read interviews to find out for themselves. Anyone who believes that NONE of his lyrics are personal is naive. Some are for fun and to poke, but others are not! X-Tina judging him has to do with it because it riled him up. Em even admitted that was the reason he went in on her. A stupid reason at that. Also the Mariah stuff became personal too, he didn't even have to respond back if it wasn't personal. Him and Moby admitted that their situation is personal. I know that Kim is not a celebrity, but he made her infamous thanks to spitting about her so much. Apologizing shows guilt my friend. He WAS a straight up homophobe. That Seinfeld actor with the hair that looks like he got electrocuted with his racist outburst gate and tried to pass it off as "jokes" anyone? If anything it showed that he changed to perform with Elton and to get a friendship out of it in the process. Elton probably helped him overcome that like he did with the prescription drugs.

Whatever. I was an uber fan of his before. I know that he likes to be a menace at times and that's who he is. You're preaching to the wrong choir on that one. I know the tricks, but I also know when he has his ulterior motives.
