But Adele wrote Alive with Sia, along with the other two rejected tracks. Your logic doesn't make any sense in this case.
I said feel like, so my intuition doesn't have to make sense to you since it's based on how I feel.
Sia said last year that she had two albums completed and ready to be released whenever RCA was ready - it looks like 1 of them are a collection of rejected tracks (including these Adele co-written ones) and then w/e the 2nd album is.

It is pretty clever though
It is but it feels very gimmicky.. I like the music so far so we'll see
Wait, Adele had the patience to write 3 songs with her.

I see Katy being singled out from the other girls.
Out of all the girls, Sia liked writing with Katy most. Sia literally quited like 20 minutes in, because it's very tough to write with Katy being very highly opinionated and very analytical. Sia was demoralized and was like "Hey, can we still be friends not through a singwriting way?".
I love love love Sia but I'm really glad none of her songs made the cut. Moreso than nearly all other popular songwriters, it's SO obvious to me when a song has had Sia involved with it. I don't really want Adele singing songs that I could imagine Sia singing just as well if not better.
Not Shakira, Adele, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Rihanna & EVEN Demi Lovato rejecting Sia songs.
I wish Shakira would've done the song - Chasing Shadows (which Sia wrote with Fernando Garibay) on Shakira. was AMAZING - and she's working with Sia & Stargate on a song for the Disney Zootopia soundtrack anyway.
Great, she doesn't deserve someone as awesome as Sia anyway
Sia is supposedly adding another song they worked on together on the album, and the fact Sia choose the work she did with Adele as her lead single... Sure w/e you say
