I don't think its fair for the hive to say ARTPOP was paid dust everywhere when Beyonce was too except in the US.
Off the top of my head, BEYONCE outsold Gaga in the UK, France, Brazil, Australia, Poland etc and probably several other markets too. Clearly Beyonce wasn't paid dust since she double what Gaga sold.

Like, Beyoncé went 180 away from EDM while Gaga thrived on it. BTW did offer risk to an extent but so did Beyoncé with Ghost, Pretty Hurts and Flawless.

Maybe because it's silly to disregard the biggest music market in the world just strengtehn your argument? It doesn't matter where the sales came from. Beyonce still what she sold and was still successful.
