Sure Jan.
"Beyonce is scared to release 5th album" teas
Bey said she was tho.The album will easily sell millions,no matter of the quality. Its been 4 years and no way she will do 21 in terms of success again.Hopefully it will be better, not like its hard.
Her label is likely making her work with people she isn't comfortable working with, resulting in work... a) she's not proud of and b) that comes off "middle of the road" because her heart isn't in it.
Or this is just fake and he's saying it for attention.
Of course she's insecure because she already knows her new album will underperform next to 21 and I suppose people want her to do more or the same number.
And stop saying she's scared of 1989. She's bigger WW than Taylor. And she will always snatch her awards (since they're both pop now) because she can sing.
Adele's not scared of taylor lol artemisia was just trolling
taylor sold 38 million with 5 albums
and adele did 35-35m with 2, she'll also probably blow 1989 out of the park
She just need to release it, like, leave all the rest to God or something, at least she already did her best. Outdoing 21 is such a hard goal. The more she delay this, the more the gp will forget about ha, she didn't even attend any recent award show iirc to keep her name out there
He sounds so ****ing bitter about getting cut from the album.
And of course she's nervous. She's not just following up any album.
Precisely. The facts are there's no way it'll top 21 so everyone needs to just shut up and get over it right now. That was a once-in-a-lifetime album, so the fact people literally have ANY expectation of it doing even in the realm Is disturbing.
It will be the PRISM to her Teenage Dream. What did Katy say about that? Something to the effect of "I'm not going to be able to out-do myself because TD's success was a monstrous once-in-a-lifetime level of success."
All of y'all hyping this album up and saying the girl can do no wrong and yet if this album comes out to a Metacritic score that's below 68 y'all will be dragging it and her through the dirt and back.
first rihanna, now adele... releasing an album in a post-1989 world is definitely a daunting task.

Girl, that makes it even worse. How do you even begin to follow up an album like that?

She should be scared, she's likely to flop unless she serves the meal hot, fresh and gourmet. People are overestimating her star power.
Y'all girls are going to tear her DOWN when it doesn't sell more than 21 or snatch as many Grammys.

The thing is.. she took so long to release something after 21 that it's almost guarenteed that anything she releases now will feel underwhelming. It's not that she hyped up her own work, but it's just so anticipated by the public that she's really set-up to fail.
I wish her the best though. It'll be interesting to see how she does either way. I'm sure most of the industry is perched to see how she does post Apple Streaming + Global Friday Release date, post-1989 (can she match or surpass Taylor Swift's pop album?) and how she does with Rihanna releasing soon (or maybe not).
Release in 2016 Adele! You, Katy, Gaga, Beyonce and Taylor (and maybe Rihanna) can all release together

I guarantee you her and her team are not even dreaming of matching the success of 21. Even they know it was a one-off event that happened at the right time, right place. It's smarter to set your sights on realistic goals such as topping 1989, which is the biggest album released recently.
They wouldn't compare a new album that's released years later, to her old album. It doesn't work that way. If she does manage to go diamond then they'll be happy ofc. but I doubt they would even go that far to set the bar that high.
