That is closer to 300 sales, sis
And Greatest Hits: My Prerogative and The Singles Collection are both currently outselling "Crazy In Love."

I never realized this. "...Baby One More Time" outsold "Crazy In Love" by a LOT despite CiL coming out with iTunes and getting so much promo in the digital age

Majority of Spotify users are Europeans, most people using youtube to listen to music are part of the younger generation that was around when both of these songs debuted.
Like, the answer is CiL, there's no argument here

I'm honesty confused why there are comparing a 11 year old Beyonce and jay z collaboration to a 17 year old bubblegum pop classic that clearly was bigger commercially and had way bigger impact.
What part don't the hive get it SOLD 10 MILLION That's like 7 million more people actually spent there coins on the classic BOMT
Why is no hive responding to me when I said Why did baby one more time set such a impact every one bought her album nearly 30 million in fact?
Crazy in love didn't have that impact her album did 3 million outside the US
Britney's did 17 million!
I guess its got its streams thou so that's all that matters right...
Britney became a music phenomenon, Beyonce became a very successful rnb artists there's a whole difference!

BOMT is a pop classic. The iconic video, outfits, and song. More than 30 million people bought the album because of that song. I'm sure all of your parents or older siblings have purchased this album. Ask them.
The only reason CIL has been charting higher is because that song was featured in The Great Gatsby soundtrack and 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack and performed at the Superbowl. So obviously it will be higher on Spotify and etc.

Obviously Beyoncé. I've never heard BOMT on the radio since its initial release. Crazy In Love still gets played weekly and is a way bigger song. The song actually sounds like a classic (timeless) while BOMT sounds dated and very 90s.

Both of these movies do not make it being played on the radios. CIL was very popular before the FSOG soundtrack already.

Obviously Crazy in love. BOMT is a forgettable outdated song from the 90s.

the push beyonce and team put into trying to make CIL more iconic than it is just like what they were doing with run the world this and last year even though it underperformed in its original release.
Some songs don't need to be pushed out there because people just already know a song like BOMT is legendary and is a phenomenon.
It's crazy how people are trying to view it any other way but whatever...BOMT will forever be embedded in pop culture. Crazy in love will continue to get pushed out there to remind people of something that needs no reminder when it comes to BOMT and will always be Beyonce's best single and most iconic song.
the results are accurate.

Saying CIL was chosen for The Great Gatsby soundtrack (as a remake) and 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack only proves how much of a classic it is. No one is choosing BOMT to feat in their films, like no one is playing it on their radio stations.

BOMT is at 25M AT BEST so stop inflating numbers 24/7. It will never cross 30M.

And that's only one factor to how BOMT was more impactful and embedded in pop culture.
Beyonce's team can push CIL as much as they do Run the world making it seem more than what it was but it won't change things much

Who cares what sold more. Their success at the time of release isn't as important as their lasting relevance and success when we're trying to measure how much of a classic each song is.
They were both massive hits, that's why we're comparing them.

Yes at people quoting bloggers and rolling stone as if they don't have agenda behind their headlines.
results still are what they are...BOMT wins but I'm glad to see so many beyonce stans in here ready to defend though. That's what is good about this forum

Britney's team is old school and crappy. They don't pitch any of Britney's songs to movies. Beyonce is constantly pitching her songs to movies.
