A New Record
This week, Selena Gomez & The Scene break a new record for the most weeks at #1, with a total of 4 weeks for their song Round & Round. The previous record was three weeks, which was held by a numerous amount of songs, most notably by Poker Face, It's Alright It's Ok, You Belong With Me, Party In the USA, According to You, Naturally, Hard, Pyromania, When I Look At You, and Can't Be Tamed, by Lady GaGa, Ashley Tisdale, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Orianthi, Rihanna, Cascada, and Selena Gomez & The Scene respectively.
At the moment, there are no songs in the way of taking the #1 spot from Selena Gomez & The Scene. The only competition is the Hot Shot Debut, Fefe Dobson's Ghost.
And with MANY of ATRL's big hits in the Bottom half of the chart, it's more likely that Ke$ha, Miley, Fefe, and DJ Earworm, as well as Shontelle and Chris Salvatore, and Carrie Underwood, and Selena Gomez & The Scene, with TWO songs in the countdown, and Hannah Montana, are going to be owning over Katy Perry, Eminem, Rihanna, Lady GaGa, and B.o.B.'s asses.
