British singer-songwriter Leona Lewis continues to promote her highly-awaited fifth studio album “I Am“, scheduled to be released on digital retailers on 11 September 2015 via Island, Def Jam.
Following the undervalued pop anthem “Fire Under My Feet“ which reached an unfair number 51 in UK, Lewis is ready to turn the page and move on in a big way this time.
The X Factor winner plans to release simultaneously the album’s opening track “Thunder” as the second official single and first in the States.
The song will be her first official US single since “Happy” in 2009 and according All Access, it will impact US Adult Contemporary radio on July 27th.
“Thunder” was written by Lewis with the collaboration of Toby Gad, who also co-wrote and produced “Fire Under My Feet“. We must be ready for the flash! ⚡
