Challenge 02 | The One With the Fragrance

A little easier this time; Bath & Body Works has requested that you design their new body wash essence. It's a part of the "Alicia Keys" line, so we want it to be perfect. Don't let her down! You have three choices of body wash. Choose One: Fruity Tooty Tango, Triple Hot Chocolate, and Kiwi & Lime.


Incorporate Alicia into the packaging design.


every B&BW packing has the famous logo.


this is just one example of their packaging, but it doesn't need to be this type.

What the hell with those scores?! Did you even read what I wrote about the image I created? Because all those things that you criticized are exactly what I was going for. If you need a refresher, here is what I said:

"I generally try to keep the focus off my image and on other things. I want to look good, but the most important thing for me is being comfortable, so I usually stick with a nice but casual style. I would rather engage people with my music and my talent, as well as with my witty, humorous and outgoing personality. Those are genuine extensions of my nature, whereas a built-up image is just a facade."

With that in mind, I would just like to respond to what you all had to say:

Humor is exactly what I was going for. I purposely designed my image in a comic and cartoonish style. This was not supposed to be some straight-laced boring depiction; it was supposed to be fun and off-center.

All I have to say here is, how can I lack creativity? I realized my image in exactly the way I wanted. Why is that less creative than just designing an avatar on some website or creating some frightening image that is hilarious but says absolutely nothing about the person who created it?

Again, that's exactly what I was going for. This is the only valid judging score I see out of the bunch, because they actually took the time to understand what I made first.

I can deal with a low score, as long as it's valid. But most of these judges didn't even bother to make an effort. Please, do your jobs, or what the hell is the point of me even playing in this game?

It's designed by Jessica Hische, who's also done the typeface for Tiffany & Co. I'll find the name of it.

Bickham Script - This font is the script font Hische made but it's not the logo, it's the fragrance name font. So you could use this to write "Triple Hot Chocolate"
