Of course not sis, you're right. I wouldn't paint an entire community under one brush, that's exactly the problem that I'm trying to get away from. To your credit, The Netherlands seems like a great as well from what I've heard (aside from questionable zwarte piet). But I just don't understand the mindset of racists. Why does it bother you so much that a person who's darker than you is in your community? What effect does that have on you personally? I just don't get it... You mean rewarded with paid vacation time?

I don't even bat an eye anymore when that happens. It's practically standard procedure at this point to give officers paid vacation for abusing a black person, while the department figures out how to paint their man as a hero and demonize the blacks as criminals. Nothing will be done about this, especially considering nobody was killed so the department probably deems this as a win for themselves. They only put him on "suspension" because the video of him pulling the gun on the kids is on the internet now.

Also, props to the few white kids who have been standing up and telling the world the truth about what happened. They're the only ones who will be listened to in this situation unfortunately. But they're doing the right thing by sticking up for the innocents and standing up to the racist adults who started this mess. Using their privilege for good, and they're not even out of high school yet. The real heroes of this story.

From what I gather, the tldr version: a bunch of kids were given guest passes and invited to their friend's place for an end-of-school-year pool party. Some of the white parents in the neighborhood didn't like all those (black) kids using their pool and called the police to report a noise complaint (even though its the middle of the afternoon, so like why?). Then apparently, a fight broke out when some of the adults told the kids to leave their neighborhood and go back to their section 8 homes (basically low-income public housing), resulting in this video of a white woman attempting to beat a little girl's skull in. The police finally arrived and the 7 minute video picks up from there.

This is as reported by various white kids who were at the party and witnessed the mess.

I've heard France is incredibly racist to non white people too. Europe may be better than America but lets not get ahead of ourselves, its pretty racist there too. But at least we wont get killed by people trying to protect us.
