It's always these Bruno Mars stans that try to act all preachy on here about stuff.

Friends is/was iconic. The fact that NBC lost a ton of viewers after it and Frasier both ended in the same season says a lot. It was definitely one of the last TV shows to attract so many viewers at once. Over 20 million I mean by that.

Of course anything that is Black or African American is considered "local," but sorry, The Cosby Show was no Living Single, Martin, The Parkers, etc. It was not #1 for five years consecutively because it had "no impact" or only appealed to black people. Let's not be dense, but this is ATRL after all. Before the rape incident, it was one of the most heavily syndicated shows. Those rape victims said that one of the reasons they didn't come out was due to how POWERFUL Bill Cosby was at the time.
