Rae Sremmurd will probably fall out of the Top 10 next week though. Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint should stay in the Top 5 at least one more consecutive week (meaning there may be more weeks when a load of debuts pushes it down, but she has the staying power to rebound).
Yeah that is pretty pitiful. This is the time of year when sales numbers will be low though, and CDs with good streaming and SEA can place higher. At least her release has sold over 500,000 in raw album sales.
Both of Trainor's songs and "Uptown Funk" will get a boost from the CD releases next week, with Trainor getting the bigger boost. However, all three songs could be hurt by CMAs starting the following week. I think "Uptown Funk" will be hurt most by CMAs, which could open the door for Swift to return or Sheeran to take over.
"Lips Are Moving" will be affected some by CMA, but not as much as UF. "All About The Bass" will be hurt the least because the song is already six months old, and AATB was already available on the Title EP. I think UF also gets hurts worse by CMA because its weekly download numbers are so high.
I think Title could spend two weeks on top before Taylor Swift takes back over. But, Meghan Trainor will likely remain in the Top 5 for quite a while, and could move back to #1 down the road. The Grammys will affect Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars (even though he is just featured on UF) Meghan Trainor, and Taylor Swift positively, but we will have to wait to see which of them gets the biggest bump.
Of course, Katy Perry will get her big Super Bowl bump around the same time, and I hope she does not hurt her career by taking a swipe at Swift during her performace.
Hopefully Centuries will recover and hit the top ten next week when the album comes out.
