BIGGEST plot twist of the year honestly, with Secret teasing this song up to be a pretty decent ballad and then BAM ******** on everyone and releasing some next level slayage with this amazing bop and somehow they still managed to incorporate some ballad-esque moments onto the track, I mean the intro alone with the english speaking and ab-libs in the background and then the bridge going all soft and vocal slayage on us asdkljdk not to mention Zinger or whatever their rapper's name is serving in her verse. Secret slayed this comeback ten fold especially with that choreography too and it's just such a shame Korea paid them absolute dust during this slayage but not during their horrid cutsey singles
I actually really disliked this whole comeback at first when overdose leaked, it just wasn't giving me everything I needed from EXO but somehow over the course of the year the song really grew on me and is probably one of my favorite songs by them ever. The cute little english in the pre-chorus is everything and the bridge serving with that rap breakdown. Good to see exo slay their last song as 12
This is their second to last entry on my countdown I swear
There's something so captivating and euphoric about this song I don't even know what it is about it, the build up to the amazing chorus? the instrumental serving slight pop perfection, the female vocaloid in the background, Got7 themselves?
I got my LIFE for a week when this finally got released, despite the mixed reviews the song got especially for picked as the lead single off the their mini it's still many steps above "Twinkle". The vocals are everything on this track and the verses give me such attitude especially Tiffany during her 2 line rap, and that says alot considering homegirl isn't the best spitter in the game. To add on the list of pros, the music video for this is probably one the best one's of 2014 I mean it's so visually stunning and all 3 of them look great!
This song is so perfect and I really enjoy the lyrics behind it, Jieun transitioning from her Gee era to her Marionette era all in one The smooth vibe of the song is everything and the use of the sax in the instrumental slays! Jieun also served eye candy for the gods in the video while delivering flawless choreo
This >>>>>>> Shut Up & Kiss Me
Coming in at #86 as our first C-Pop entry, Trigger To The Thunder Of Love is such a massive bop like Elva really delivered with this album and it's such a shame and injustice she gave this bussy bopper the D-List treatment with such a cheap video as an ad for the Amazing Spiderman like....nonetheless the good sis looks great in the video
Not really sure how I came along to find this gem of a song or this gem of a Girl Group, most likely due to the J-Pop Discussion Thread, but whoooo do FAKY serve me everything I've ever wanted in a girl group they're like a more mature and upbeat version of MAMAMOO and I live for every second of it
