Can't wait for the next update. Glad you are including pre-2014 albums/songs to mix things up.

 | Despite being a little overrated (mostly because of its showstopping sales), this album was definitely one of the highlights of the year. I hated "Blank Space" and "Bad Blood" until two days ago, so it would've been a tad higher if this chart included January 2015.
Still, this album is perfect pop. I love how Taylor kept a lot of guitars in it, it's just her perfect sound. |
 | I've always loved Kelly Clarkson, but I had never heard ANYTHING from this album until this August when I purchased it. It was a positive surprise: it's full of bops. "Beautiful Disaster" has to be one of the cutest songs ever.
I think her stans do this album wrong when they say it sucks. It sure is different from the other Kelly albums, but it's brilliant in its own way. |
 | The physical version of 'Yours Truly' came out in January 2014 in Italy so I had to wait until then. I had heard all the tracks in 2013, and I was completely blown away by "Tattooed Heart". The weirdest yet best song of the album, though, has to be "Better Left Unsaid".
One of the most critically acclaimed albums of 2013, 'Yours Truly' showed a less exciting version of the Ariana Grande we all know now. |
 | Paulina's only English-language album, released in 2002, is easily the soundtrack to my trip to Greece last summer. Everything about it is so early 2000s, and that's by far my favorite decade so I'm not complaining.
Turns out my parents are huge stans of her song "Y yo sigo aquí" (the Spanish version of "I'll Be Right Here"), which was featured in Italian commercials back in 2002. |
 | 2014 was the year I really got into Mariah Carey. I had already bought 'Memoirs' in 2009 and 'The Emancipation of Mimi' in late 2012, but this year I completed her discography, and it's flawless. 'Me. I Am Mariah' isn't her best work, but it's still great.
Fun fact: thanks to Mariah, I met this guy I went out with last summer (too bad he lacks personality and I got tired of him real soon... and his bad breath didn't help). |

T'as vraiment entendu! Beautiful Disaster is just flawless, and I disagree with Kelly when she says it was overproduced on Thankful

Yours Truly took months to grow on me in full, but after ME I really appreciate it now.
Agree about 1989.

 | The pop classic that accompained my through my teenage years. I have a huge emotional connection with almost every song. From "Hummingbird Heartbeat", which represents my 2013 trip to America to see my then-boyfriend ("I've flown a hundred miles just to find the magic seed"), to "Last Fridat Night (T.G.I.F.)", that, when the video came out, because of Rebecca Black's presence, led me to stop stanning for Katy for three months.
Finally, "Wide Awake" is my number one favorite song of all time: perfect lyrics, perfect music, perfect video, perfect production. Second to it is "Stars Are Blind" by Paris Hilton. |
 | The most hated album of 2013 (probably because it flopped ), it's actually filled with massive bops. "Til It's Gone" is its best song, with that 2011 throwback sound.
Me and two of my friends have been planning to go to Vegas to see Britney. We have time, as the show is going on for over two years |
 | I found it at the store half price earlier this year and I would've never thought I'd find my favorite Mariah song in it: "Bye Bye". That song gets me so emotional
Overall, it's just part of the Mariah slayage that occurred this year in my life. The way she uses words is unique. |
 | Many lambs and Mariah herself are going to disagree, but this is my favorite Mariah album. "Petals" alone is better than entire discographies.
I even love the most hated track ever by the Lambs: "Did I Do That?". Finally, let's not talk about the EARGASM that "Bliss" is: basically six minutes of whistles and pure relax. |
 | I'd had this album for a while (because my mom is a huge Beyoncé stan), but I never really paid attention to it until this summer, when I decided to listen to it. At a first play, some songs sounded boring and flat, but in the end, every single track managed to conquer my heart.
I don't understand why the Beehive hates "Daddy" so much. It's such a sweet song, and definitely in my top three of this album. |
