This whole Best Of is so damn cute. Love the concept and just everything about it.
Unfortunately I don't know one person or song on here so far.
Someone more mainstream will be appearing in the next segment, don't worry! But yeah, neither Rihanna or Kesha had anything in terms of new releases this year, so this list won't have many "Main pop gorls".
Thank you, by the way! You're like the apex of Best Of's so it means a lot!

I remember when I first heard the teaser for this song, and I was like "WHAT, Girl's Generation are about to serve electronic realness!", but then I heard the song in full. I did like it still...it just wasn't what I was expecting. It probably would've been higher on my list if the whole song had that electronic feel to it.
Oh, and #TeamJessica
*Girls' Generation will appear again on the countdown*
89. Felix Cartal & Clockwork - The Fire (feat. Madame Buttons)
Year of release: 2013, Genre(s): Dance/Electronic, Language(s) - English, Album - The Fire (2013)
Another one of those really long songs This song also kind of suffered from that, especially considering like the first 30 seconds is not needed at all. Other than the length, Mrs. Madame Hunty Buttons slayed her vocals. (I added the Hunty if you actually thought that her name had Hunty in it. ), but it's just a typical dance song. I happen to really like dance songs, so that's about why it charted.
Year of release: 2014, Genre(s): Pop, Doo-Wop, Language(s) - English, Album - Lips Are Movin' (2014)
Omg someone who is actually RELEVANT?! Yes, someone who has actually had a mainstream hit is on my countdown! All About That Bass is okay, but this song, in my opinion, is even better. It's a bit more upbeat, and there are some vocal moments in this song that I really like. It's a bit unfortunate that she had to reference "Bass" in the song, probably because the label told her to, since it makes her come off as trying too hard to replicate AATB's success, but I do still hope this becomes a hit for her. I'm happy she's seeing success despite not fitting the mold for a typical female pop star.
"If your lips are movin', then you're lyin' lyin' lyin' babe."
