Though I haven't really been around since her mixtape days (I listened to Black Water
briefly last year and was unmoved) Tinashe really had a mad breakout this year and, IMO, has
become one of the most promising voices of the future of R&B. Very excited to see where she goes next. tinashe

Jhenι has been around for quite some time now, but it wasn't until earlier this year that
she got that hit with The Worst. I've come to really admire her work and artistry. She's a cool gal. jhenι aiko

Okay, well Bey has clearly been ALL over the board in 2013 and 2014 and ignoring her
existence/slayage has been virtually impossible to do. I had little faith in her until she released her
self-titled to which I promptly bowed down, but 7/11 this year really sealed the deal. A mastermind. beyoncι

Even though her newest studio effort, Sheezus, sort of tanked and was not much more
than some throwaway pop, I always connect with Lily and her charm. I also held ATRL's Lily Allen
Discography Rate this summer, to which I fully got back into Lily and thoroughly enjoyed it. lily allen

Crystal Castles has been my favorite band since I was 13 years old. This year, they broke
up, and it felt like a piece of me broke off and is rebuilding itself. I'm not certain how I feel about it
and I'm going to miss them, but it will be interesting to see how each of them go about in the world. crystal castles
I really hope Troye Sivan is able to make it in the music industry. It seems like he genuinely loves making music and isn't just another YouTuber trying to get more famous.

Well, this comes as a 0% surprise to anybody. This song, as well as like 2-3 others on 1989,
are destined to smash in the new year. There's no stopping Miss Swift, and frankly, I'm okay with that
considering the fact that this song and its siblings are quite good.
nicki minaj & beyoncι feeling myself
People generally found this song underwhelming, but I definitely do not. There's enough
star power in this one to make it smash based on its name alone, and honestly I found it to be quite
a stunning record and probably one of the best on The Pinkprint. They'd be dumb to not release it.
jack ό & kiesza take ό there
This song has been out for a short while now, but I'm clinging on to the hope that it can become
some sort of low-key hit because the song is pretty amazing. With Kiesza's incredible vocals and
Skrillex and Diplo's epic production team-up, this song has all the makings of a smash. We'll see.

The world seems to have latched on to Nick Jonas (likely thanks to his... sexuality) and
this could likely follow-up the success of Jealous, I think. That or the promo single, Chains.
charli xcx doing it
I do realize that Break the Rules kind of tanked, but this song was meant to be a hit.
I think it can breathe some life into Sucker and become the follow-up to Boom Clap she needs.

It's certainly been an interesting year for my fave. From going to rehab to this atrocious
court case with Luke (which could be seen coming from miles away tbh), it's a very hard time to be
a Kesha fan but I'm hanging in there. Always supporting her, looking forward to see how her 2015 pans out. • • • • • • • • • • kesha •

It's been beyond phenomenal to watch Charli become such a sensation over the last year.
I never would have guessed she would break out so hard. Very, very proud of her, her music, her
artistry and the growth she's shown. And that she proved EVERYONE wrong with Sucker. OY! • • • • • • • • • • charli xcx •

It took me awhile, but I finally got into Radiohead this year and it was one of the best things
I did. I'm about half-way thru their discography and they're one of my favorites now. Some great music. • • • • • • • • • • radiohead •

Ohhh, Azealia. She kinda delivered over and over and over in 2014. Musically, nothing bad
to say. She performed excellently and I am so happy she finally came thru, and she will likely
continue to do so going in to 2015. As far as her mouth goes... as unruly as ever. Still love her though • • • • • • • • • • azealia banks •

Something about the excellent techno ambiance in Boards Of Canada's music is exactly
what I needed this year. The rhythm, mood and context of so much of their music blows me away
and I can actually get lost in their discography, stripping away at their music continually forever.
I'll probably never get bored with them. Not sure what took me so long to register how much I love them. • • • • • • • • • • boards of canada •
collin, I think you overrate my affinity for pop only acts. Regardless, I'll give them a listen some time.
Kesha surprised she's so high considering everything this year. Queen. I kind of hate Charli but I'm willing to give Sucker a listen soon enough even though I didn't like any of the promo or leaked tracks sans Boom Clap.
I hope Charli is smart enough to release Doing It. I like Break The Rules but I can see why it do that well. She has some potential hits on her album, and Doing It is probably her best one
Your Kesha dedication is so inspiring. I need her return in 2015, in what ever shape or form
