#40 Starting off this update is "Rude" from MAGIC!. When I heard this song, I just couldn't get it out of my head, it has a nice beat to it. I read that this song is really about an interracial relationship.
#39 This year Jessie J made a comeback with "Bang Bang" This is her third time appearing on my year-end countdown with"Price Tag (2011) and "Domino" (2012). "Bang Bang" is one of those catchy songs you happily find yourself singing along with or just randomly out somewhere
#38 I first heard this song on the VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown and the song reminds me a lot of "Lights" from Ellie Goulding. However, the huge difference between the two is that Clean Bandit combines both electronic and classical/violin instruments. Jess Glynne has a wonderful voice, and I love the finger shaking that she and the other people do in the accompanying music video.
#37 Another song that sound like it came from the 80's is "The Mother We Share" from CHVRCHES. The song kinda reminds of "Video Killed The Radio Star". I like the song.
#36 Sam Smith has a huge year with two hit singles and two collabs. His second single "I'm Not The Only One", is absolutely a really good soulful song that definitely is eloquent and beautiful to his sound of his heart. The music video also features Glee star Deanna Argon.
Bonus
The fifth bonus song for this update is "Anaconda' from Nicki Minaj. The reason why I like this song is because it samples Sir-Mix-Alot's Baby Got Back. It just fits really well with this song. I think it's one of the best songs sampled from an old song, same with S.O.S from Rihanna and the song is a guilty pleasure.

I’ve entered JT’s 2014 world. Let’s see what happened here so far.
We Are Done is a fun song, Take Me Home was fine, but I got over it. Too bad Love Runs Out is this low. I guess love did run out. Take Me to Life is such a great song. Man, I love it. The extended metaphors, the video, and the way the song’s sounds in its ominous Church way. Red Light is alright even for just a bonus.
I’m the Man, the Man. Empire is wonderful, Heroes (We Could Be) is appearing in a nice amount of Best ofs so far, I’m just a Believer that things will get better (I need this mindset right now), Good bonus for If I Could Change Your Mind. Should’ve made the top 60 tho.
Meghan was All About That 2014, Team is such great song that was one of the best from the first half of the year and last year. I use I Wanna Get Better to thrive to get better. Another nice bonus song in I Will Never Let You Down.
Baby Don’t Lie is alright, but not her best for sure. Wasn’t into Superheroes. Say Something is a great piano ballad. Great work by those two. We’re only Human. Yeah, we are. I should go back to listen to that song again. Unconditionally is a nice song.
Rude is one of the best songs of 2014, good take on Rather Be, The Mother We Share is atmospherically awesome and good comparison with Video Killed the Radio Star. I’m Not The Only One is such an amazing and heartfelt song. I liked Anaconda more than I should, but I liked the use of the sample because that got me into the song in the first place.
Really good countdown and I like all the bonuses. Can’t wait for more for me to comment on.
