On one hand, I'm woefully unprepared for this (still have albums to listen to, still have to put together my ghetto graphics, etc.), which makes me happy to see that the forum is opening in the middle of December and not in the beginning. On the other, well, I haven't exactly been great about updating/finishing year-end threads lately.
I only plan on doing three lists, and they're the most usual of usual suspects (
Singles, Albums, YouTube). I probably won't do a video games list, honestly, because there were not enough games that I played that I was REALLY impressed with, but I may try to bring back the "Songs I Got Into This Year From The Past" idea. Most importantly, though, I have thought of putting together a strategy to ensure that I finish. This strategy involves putting together another big list, one that I tried doing a couple of years ago and failed miserably at because I couldn't get the OTHER big list done in time. If you've followed my year-enders in the past, then you might know what I'm referring to.
The Best of time of the year has always been my favorite on ATRL, and this year should be no exception. And to those of you who are experiencing this for the first time, cherish it, because there's nothing like your first Best of year. You're in for one hell of a treat.
