This isn't a fact at all. In fact it's quite easy to argue with. The only thing "non-commercial" about B2B was the fact that it had a '40s jazz theme. And that's all it was, a theme. It was still a highly-promoted, well-funded, visible
pop album that should've and could've done every bit as well as B'Day.
It had a slightly different genre. So what? She just couldn't quite pull it off. Tons of other artists have. But you're embarrassing yourself by saying that it was non-commerical for that reason. Just admit that it was a bit of a flop, and move on.
