I still don't know what the evidence should influence my opinion..
I definitely understand the recial discrimination that has frustrated the community for sure... But a crime is still a crime... At the same time, shooting someone unarmed is damn ridiculous.. I still don't know the facts and the assumptions.. I do hope justice is served the correct way!
I'm talking lack of evidence, buried evidence, conflicting eyewitness reports, etc. Don't try to make it sound like I'm sympathetic to the cops I'm just pointing out that, just like the Casey Anthony case, the US legal system is based on hard evidence and not the public thinking someone is guilty, so while a lot of us see the blatant racism here, that's not enough for legal action.
People really expect court cases to be determined by feelings and hunches. It's not. Looking at the EVIDENCE, no one should be surprised by the verdict
