It already did, Beyonce is at 2m+, Spears' latest efforts in the US have yet to reach that.

Both of Spears latest 2 efforts (1.8 + .7 = 2.5 at the most) combined haven't outsold BEYONCE (3M+) overall world wide.

Hell Femme Fatale sold 800K (being generous here) and BJ sold what 300K in the US, combined they didn't even outsell Beyonce's alleged flop, 4 (1.4M) in the US.
