Enjoy the game but make sure to check out the modding communities at ModTheSims, any random sim tumblrs (just look up s2cc), the Sims 2 "booty' for CC donation content, and The Sims Resource. Their exchange is no longer up but you can do really cool things nowadays, like port Sims 3 items to 2, and make them look fairly realistic.

Actually the EPs are 1-1.5 GB at most (the SPs tend to go from 300mb-500mb ) the rest of those wasted GBs are the multiple updates they have released becaused they can't never get the code right

It showed up when I went to my personal account in the app, but it said that it's only for Windows so
