14. South Park
First Air date: March 12, 2008
Starring (Voices): Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Mona Marshall, April Stewart, John Hansen, Jennifer Howell and Adrien Beard.
Channel: Comedy Central (US)/Paramount Comedy1 (UK)
The World's favourite or maybe most hated 8 year old's kept going and going this year. They started with their 12th season this year, starting off with an episode called "Tonsil Trouble". More controversy arrises when they question how much of an impact AIDS has on people nowadays. Also they cure AIDS using Magic Johnson's cash. Hilarious episode. But the episode on every one's lips this year must have been, "Britney's New Look". Britney attempts to commit suicide, when the boys break into her hotel room to try and get a picture of her. She survives with half of her head. It turns out that the World are trying to kill Britney for harvest, their next victim if Miley Cyrus, I wonder if that's the reason why half of ATRL hates her here, am I not in on something? Episodes just aired in the last three months, which have not yet aired in this country yet include episodes such as, "The China Problem", "Breast Cancer Show Ever", "Pandemic", "Pandemic 2 - The Startling", "Elementary School Musical", and "The Ungroundable". The only new South Park episode they have aired here, was "About Last Night..." which was aired after Obama becoming the new US President. Which I didn't think was that great an episode, oh well looking forward to the new episodes in 2009.
13. I Love New York 2
First Air date: October 27, 2007 (US), Mid 2008 (UK)
Starring: Tiffany "New York" Pollard
Channel: MTV
Both seasons of I Love New York premiered in the UK in 2008. And I was hooked... New York's personality draws you in every episode in my opinion. Your always wondering what's gonna happen to each contestant in every episode. My favourite contestant from Season 2, was Tailor Made. You cannot make a character like that up. Tailor Made & Buddha's fight was the most amazing thing I've ever watched on television. The terror on Tailor Made's face was priceless. We cannot forget Midget Mac! The guy was legend! When you see the disgust on New York's mum's face, that just makes you shout at the screen for New York to keep him in. When he was in the water trying to get across to give New York her present, he couldn't even swim, it was like oh, someone go get the man out the water. And Unsure, **** what was that guy thinking, did he not think his ass would have not got beat for just walking off the show. I was very happy with New York this year. Plus she started the New York Goes To Hollywood, which I've already started watching, I'm a fully pledged New York fan!

These are my personal favourite films this time.
10. Step Brothers
Released: July 25, 2008
Starring: Will Ferrel, John C. Reilley, Richard Jenkins and Mary Steenburgen.
Why I Like It?: It brings back Will Ferrel and John C. Reilley together after Talladega Nights.
9. Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging
Released: July 25, 2008
Starring: Georgia Groome, Alan Davies and Karen Taylor.
Why I Like It?: I really don't know?
8. The House Bunny
Released: August 22, 2008
Starring: Anna Farris, Emma Stone, Colin Hanks, Kat Dennings and Katharine McPhee.
Why I Like It?: Just the fact that Anna Farris brings back her stupidity in yet another film. Plus Katharine McPhee's character is laugh out loud funny.

7. How To Lose Friends & Alienate People
Released: October 3, 2008
Starring: Simon Pegg, Kirsten Dunst, Jeff Bridges and Megan Fox.
Why I Like It?: Simon Pegg is one of my favourite comic actors.
6. Meet Dave
Released: July 11, 2008
Starring: Eddie Murphy, Elizabeth Banks, Gabrielle Union and Ed Helms.
Why I Like It?: I just think it's a really stupid film with a really simple plot, nothing really hard to follow, so that's really why I like it. Plus the trailer made me nearly wet myself in the pictures.
5. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barbar Of Fleet Street
Released: December 21, 2007
Starring: Johnny Depp, Helen Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall and Sacha Baron Cohen.
Why I Like It?: The whole story was very haunting, and was overshadowed by other musicals this year such as High School Musical 3 and Mamma Mia! which in my opinion weren't very good compared to this.
What I'm Looking Forward To:
Obsessed: This film stars Beyonce Knowles in a soon to be Oscar award winning film for the multi-tasking singer/actress. The story is about the successful career of an asset manager with a beautiful wife (played by Beyonce Knowles) and son is put in jeopardy when a temp worker starts to stalk him.
Star Trek: I don't know much about the film to be honest as I'm not a Star Trek fan, but for the pure fact that Simon Pegg stars in this film, well I need to see this.
Foodfight!: This film has been getting pushed back and further back, which makes me question if this will ever be released. But I'm still hoping for it's release. The film has faced controversy for sexual innuendo and the fact that this stuff is being used in a children's film. It stars Hilary Duff and Charlie Sheen.

Sweeney Todd was a sick movie. The head-chopping part was so artistic and that's why I liked it

4. Juno
Released: December 25, 2007
Starring: Ellen Page, Michael Cera and Jennifer Garner.
Why I Like It?: Although it was first released in September, it hit fame in 2008 winning many prestigious awards. Just like the sheep that I am, I followed the crowd and watched it, and loved it!
3. Step Up 2 The Streets
Released: February 14, 2008
Starring: Briana Evigan, Robert Hoffman, Cassie Ventura and Adam G. Sevani.
Why I Like It?: The music was amazing, plus the dancing in it was flawless.
2. Hancock
Released: July 2, 2008
Starring: Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman.
Why I Like It?: The whole fact that the story line kept twisting, that you couldn't really figure out for yourself what was going to happen next.
Coming up soon: The #1 Film of '08.
