John Legend feat. Andre 3000 - Green Light
"Green Light" was the lead single off of John Legend's htird album,
Revolver. Upon my first listen, I was not really impressed, but I grew to love the song. Andre 3000's verse is insane and without his verse, I probably would not have liked the song as much.

One Republic - Stop And Stare
"Stop And "Stare" is #39 this year, out peaking "Apologize"'s position from my list last year (#44.) "Stop And Stare" spent 27 days on my countdown, and peaked at #02.

Mariah Carey - I Stay I Love
Released as the 4th single off of E=MC2, "I Stay In Love" was a pretty great ballad. It wasn't as good as the ballads from "TEOM", but when you compare it to the tracks on E=MC2, it's amazing. The video was nothing special, but I think we all all rejoice in the fact that it didn't feature 4 minutes of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon.

M.I.A. Paper Planes
So...I discovered "Paper Planes" at a party and I didn't know that the song had been released a while ago, but it found it's way into my rotation. Being exposed to "Paper Planes" led me to listen to some more of M.I.A.'s music, which I am learning to enjoy. "Paper Planes" was my first sucessful venture out of my Urban box in a while.

Estelle feat. Kanye West - American Boy
"American Boy" featured one of my favorite Kanye guest appearances of all time! I didn't expect it to be a big hit, but I was proved wrong! "American Boy" was a fun, relaxed song and Estelle's smooth, airy vocals were great. I hope she will be able to find more success here in the U.S.
