I remember when some magazine rewieved ARTPOP and gave it really low score, it was something like ''The album is 59 minutes long'' and then just listed the songs in the order Hope they'll avoid Lana, tbh.
The song ends and the next one begins. “Venus” is yet another song.

Very good start, Pitchfork seems to have liked all of her singles released prior to the album so hopefully their review is another high score.
they haven't reviewed any of her singles from this album, they just posted news articles literally just saying she dropped a song/the link to the youtube upload.

I hate when a reviewer hates an artist and then gives them bad reviews and bad scores. Hate it then dont review it. TinyMixTapes is a mess and hope they wont give UV a 0.
Born To Die got a 61 and Paradise a 64. All of you saying anything more than a 70 are being unrealistic
Interestingly, given the huge backlash in her homeland at the time of release, take ALL the US-based Born To Die reviews away and the score would be in the high 70s. It will be interesting to see what happens now the ridiculous furore surrounding her emergence has largely died down. But some critics' egos seemingly won't allow them to admit they were wrong so who knows? I can predict one thing though - its score will be nowhere near as high as it deserves

Now that's what I call progress! As i suggested earlier, the US-based reviews will be interesting given the (hopefully) less hysterical musings on Lana's 'authenticity' this time around and (again, hopefully) a commitment to actually, you know, reviewing the MUSIC . Plus there hasn't been an 'SNL' debacle this time...
