There was a young girl in the video who was probably the same age as Justin or slightly younger and even she knew his comments was incredibly offensive. Hell, at 15 we ALL knew the power of racism.

I don't disagree with your sentiment but I don't understand your logic - how could he have worded it differently to make sure it didn't come off as an apology for damage control? Just because him getting exposed prompted the apology doesn't mean it's insincere.

Of course the letter is damage control, almost every celeb has said something stupid that has needed damage control, but that doesn't mean they aren't sincere with it
