Not at all, hun. It's just you're seeming to take this thread in a real negative direction, making it out like it's a competition when both of our faves clearly don't want that. This is the #MonstersKats2014 thread, not the #MonstersAreTheBestButKatsAreKindOfOkayTooSometime s2014 thread.
And for the record, Teenage Dream and Born This Way sold very similar amounts both in the US and WW. That's not bad for a supposed singles artist like Katy who had a lot less star power than Gaga during those times. Let's not act like Gaga completely slayed her or anything. It was a very important era for Katy, and it got her a LOT further in this industry, that's why PRISM is doing very well for her and even outperforming some of her singles.
