I'm hoping for next year, but really it'll probably be in 2016 or 2017 if we're lucky.
I wish he wasn't so involved with Slaughterhouse/Yelawolf's albums and just focused on his own.

i dont think he really is that involved with their albums. both acts have been recording for close to a year. he probably jsut needs to sign off on everything and maybe add some finishing touches. he takes so long with his albums probably because hes such a perfectionist, and he doesnt like to release anything because he always finds something else he wants to change so they literally need to pry the finished product out of his hands

He's always been a perfectionist, I don't think him being a one is that big of a factor. Before his hiatus the longest gap between studio albums was two years, and even then he was working on a lot of other side projects like the D12 albums and the 8 Mile soundtrack/movie. Then between Relapse, Recovery, and the BME EP, there was only a one year difference.

I just remember with WT:OH, Slaughterhouse said he was very hands on and involved in the process. And when Eminem had interviews around that time, he was always talking about how he was working on their album. I'm hoping you're right and he's taking this hands off approach this time around. I've always felt like if he wasn't so involved with Slaughterhouse's album back in 2012 we would have got MMLP2 sooner.

Considering he did MMLP2 I hope on the next album he will produce all the songs

I think the next album will be quite important especially on the topics, which where "easier" to find on Relapse,Recovery and MMLP2. I'm quite worried honestly
