Trying would mean they aren't succeeding. The last Anime got 3 seasons, the MMORPG slays & the games still do well.
Btw apart from "mon" at the end of the titles, they are actually nothing alike and the games are nothing like Pokemon It's kind of pointless to compare them for content.

This game is way too graphically advanced for the 3DS, which is why its on the Vita.
