Did you even read my post? I mentioned Animal debuted at #1, which is an album, not a single. It scanned Platinum in the US and 2x platinum in Canada and Australia, one of her biggest markets. It's no secret that Ke$ha however isn't a massive album seller or touring force. No she doesn't have any Grammys. But none of this really has any relevance to whether or not she's a main pop girl.
And my post wasn't even about that, I've already established that she isn't one, I was simply making it clear that to make such ignorant comments as that nobody in the GP knows who Ke$ha even is is just simply absurd.
The funny thing is, sales, touring receipts and awards are usually the first things that those who stan for success ask for. It's actually kind of cringeworthy, because it's basically like waving around your stan card and saying, "Look how successful my fave is! Aren't they great? My fave is better than your fave." Music shouldn't be about that. Warrior flopped and ultimately I'm okay with that because I enjoy the album and I appreciate the hard work that Ke$ha put into her record. That's enough for me.
Tik Tok is well known by a variety of demographics. Why is it so hard for you to see that you are wrong? Like $oldier said, she didn't get hits by accident, the GP was and still is here for her.
