At this point, it looks like Katy. ADELE will really have to keep both her album and single success for her to stand a chance. If Taylor breaks pop even more with her next album, she also has a chance. Rihanna would need to keep up her release schedule with an increase and hope Katy decreases for a chance at the spot.

Album sales are weighted very, very low. Beyoncé was named "Female Artist of the 2000s" despite selling like 11 million albums. The most important factor is radioplay and that is unfortunately not on Taylor's side.
