Let's not forget gaga was made fun of 2 years ago when she lost all her noms to Adele. Her response was classy: "you can't win them all." (And she was happy for Adele, she smiled and gave her a standing ovation while applauding for her each time she took the stage.) she knows how Katy feels. I feel she is being genuine about this, she doesn't want monsters to be petty. she's practicing what she preaches, can't get mad at her for that.

The thing that posted that obviously was not posting it to compliment her, so yes it was obvious negativity they were trying to purport. Gaga did not reach for that. She also was not referring to the quality of Katy's work, you're just trying to find shade where there isn't. It's not reading carefully, it's reaching.
That kind of post is pathetic and not funny at all. People need to stop saying that a grammy means quality music. Of course it's an honour but it's mostly because of the glamour, it doesn't mean anything and people are starting to realize that because of the Macklemore/Kendrick situation.
By the way, her comment doesn't make her a "saint", any ADULT would've said the same thing
