She's sweet. has the ability to write her songs, has shown exceptional performing skills (dance)....there's just a disconnect. Her music is either hit or miss. And the whole label puppet thing is really hard to look past.
Britney- Ha music is atrocious and dated. And most importantly, she can not sing. I'm into artists who can stand in one place, if need be, and slay a difficult ballad.
She's boring. Lack of passion/ambition/drive (I guess all are synonymous, you get the point). It's been hard to hold on for the past 6 years, recycling excuses to make her seem better than she is. I guess the breaking point was putting out a terrible album. At least, that's always been up to standard. I shouldn't have to lower my expectations to enjoy an artist, but I do that each new era upon us and it's blah. I've no way "jumped ship", that'd be very difficult to do as I do love Britney. But as far as full-on stanning and trying to make myself happy with her decisions (or lack thereof) or (now) mediocre music, it's on the line.

I USED to stan for her and just became tired of being disappointed week after week. I said since the FF era that I was gonna wait until the first promo performance of the era to see where I stood with her but when the whole release week went by without a single one and more useless interviews I knew that was it.
