90. FACTORY FLOOR - Fall Back
Now, I've never dabbled with anything extreme, but Fall Back is a song that makes me feel like I'm under the influence of something extraordinary. The song is an ultimate-mind trip into an Electronic paradise. While the song isn't particularly heavy on lyrics (which is expected), the climax of the track is when the distorted and blended voice commands you to go higher, higher, higher. You can't help but feel like you're in another dimension at that point. While I haven't really delved deep into Factory Floor's discography, Fall Back is proof that they indeed have some gems hidden away from the world.
89. BIG SEAN F/ NICKI MINAJ & JUICY J - MILF
MILF is a track on Big Sean's sophomore album Hall of Fame. While most have their conflicting views about the album, one thing for sure is that MILF is a standout track. The track's concept is that of the POV of the boyfriend of a mother with children (played by Big Sean), and the POV of the mother as well (played by Minaj). The absolute highlight of the entire song is Nicki's short, but fantastic verse in which she opens with the lines (in character), I got my welfare check, smokin' on that crack, hell yeah I'm unemployed baby daddy down my back. The sheer realism of a crackhead mother that purely is using a younger man for sex (as well as not caring for her children at need) makes the verse (and song) a fantastic performance art piece. While MILF can never be a single, it's very nice to see that Big Sean experimented with a vast amount of topics on his album.
88. CHRIS BROWN F/ AALIYAH - Don't Think They Know
If there's one thing you can ever count on this man for, it's to create some nice R&B music. Don't Think You Know was released as the second (technical) single from X, and features a sampled cut from an old track by the late Aaliyah. It's funny how much the song relates to the myriad of personal struggles that has plagued Christopher since 2009. There's not much to say about the song, but as stated before, I can only hope this man receives the help that he needs.
87. MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS F/ MARY LAMBERT - Same Love
Words cannot describe how powerful Same Love is as a song, because it's more than a song. The track discusses the LGBT thoughts experienced by both Macklemore & Mary Lambert, as well as discussing the views of homosexuality by select groups of people. Mary's hook of And I can't change, even if I tried, even if I wanted to reaches into the soul of the listener as you hear the raw emotion in her voice. Musically, the track isn't anything unique (hence the placement position), but it isn't supposed to be. The song's purpose is purely to share and spread a message of acceptance and love, and with a blockbuster year for the duo (as well as multiple Grammy nominations), you can expect to hear much more of Macklemore in 2014.
86. JAY Z - Somewhereinamerica
Just as with the majority of Jay Z's twelfth studio album Magna Carta Holy Grail, Somewhereinamerica's high point (and reason for placement) is the absolute rich production, courtesy of Travis Scott. The song discuss Mr. Carter's rise into the ultra upper-class society in America. It's a decent album track, but the production is what makes it into something more than that. It's like you feel like you're in the 1920's of America, while sitting in a NYC cafe smoking a cigar (depending on your race, you'll either be in the white or colored section, but still). The song just works as a prelude to Crown, the following track on the album. That's all that can be said about Somewhereinamerica, because somewhereinamerica, Miley is still twerking.
85. DJ KHALED F/ NICKI MINAJ, FUTURE & RICK ROSS - I Wanna Be With You
There's many reasons why I Wanna Be With You is so great as your standard radio Rap track. Nicki's verse is absolutely and devastatingly insane, Future's hook is top-grade catchy, and Ross delivers his verse with sharp finesse. The track just works in all its DJ Khaled glory. The song isn't a high-quality Hip-Hop song at all (sans Nicki's legitimately quality verse), but not all music is about that. There's times where you want to enjoy yourself and blast your coonery and act a fool. I Wanna Be With You isn't like that, because it details what somebody would want in someone that they love, but the song can still make you bruk out. Overall, I Wanna Be With You is prime DJ Khaled, and that's all that will ever matter.
84. CIARA - Overdose
Overdose. OverDAMNdose. This song first leaked as a one-minute snippet back in early-2012, and ever since then, fans have been wanting to hear this majestic track in its entirety. With the release of Ciara's self-titled album in 2013, the time had finally come. Overdose is a grade-A Pop track that showcases what Ciara would sound like if she fully delved into the mainstream Pop world. The track really had the potential to be absolutely massive on a global front, but since Ciara has chosen to not promote her music, it'll have to stay as an amazing album gem.
83. WALE F/ TIARA THOMAS - Bad
Bad was the lead single off of Wale's 2013 release, The Gifted, and this song was absolutely everywhere. The track is a Hip-Hop/R&B fused jam aided by the talented Tiara Thomas on vocals for the chorus. While Rihanna is featured on the remix to Bad, but it's Tiara that shines bright (no pun intended I promise) all through out the original version. You couldn't escape Bad in 2013, so either you accepted it or turned off your radio.
82. ARIANA GRANDE F/ BIG SEAN - Right There
Right There is a brilliant track and Ariana Grande is a brilliant artist. I won't even delve into her astronomical vocal range, because this is about Right There. The song samples Lil' Kim's mid-1990's hit Crush on You, and this is one sample that couldn't be any better. It fits so well into the song that you can't help but rap to Cease's chorus from the original song. Aided with a solid feature from Big Sean and you have yourself a match made in heaven. Right There isn't a song you'd expect from a Nickelodeon star, but Ariana Grande has defied all expectations. She's slowly carving her own lane for herself, which is why I expect to see much more of Ms. Grande in 2014.
81. A$AP ROCKY F/ SKRILLEX & BIRDY NAM NAM - Wild for the Night
If there was ever a song that made you go absolutely bananas, it's Wild for the Night. The track is an insane electro-hop BANGER that features Rocky rapping at intense speeds to Skrillex's (and Nam Nam's) production. If you ever were blessed enough to listen to Wild for the Night with the car speakers blasting with the bass all the way up, you'd understand the magnificence of this track. 2014 will be the return of Rocky, and I can't wait to see how he'll progress from here.

Ariana Grande was such a surprise her album and just style of music is so good, I was so impressed.
I'm getting into A$AP as of late, and Ciara definitely delivered one of the best R&B albums of the year.

99. CHRIS BROWN F/ NICKI MINAJ - Love More
Christopher Maurice Brown. What a chaotic year this controversial man has had. 2013 was supposed to be a year where Chris' music spoke for itself, and the controversy of yesteryear stayed in the past. As everyone knows, this was very far from the case, but we'll focus on the music aspect of his life, for now. Love More was the third single released from Chris Brown's unreleased album X. The song was premiered at the 2013 BET Awards and features a high-paced verse from Miss. Onika Maraj. Honestly speaking, I'm not too fond of the song overall. I do enjoy it for the sixteen bars of fire spit by Nicki, but besides that, it isn't Chris' best of the year. However, thug prolly, yo come polly ; you wanna **** a bad dolly, and pop molly along with the opening lines to Nicki's verse greatly compensate for the rest of the song. All I can hope for in 2014 is that Chris receives the treatment he so desperately needs.
98. WILL.I.AM F/ BRITNEY SPEARS - Scream & Shout
Scream & Shout was a track released as the second single from Will's album #willpower. The song was released in 2012, although it primarily took over the first few months of 2013. Sonically, the track is the same of what Will has been doing in recent years, but it's Britney who makes the song into something much more than another dance track sent to the radio for oversaturation. Aided with a faux-British accent (reminiscent of her darker times of 2007), Britney breezes through her lines with finesse. The highest-point of the song is the "Britney Bitch" sample from Britney's Gimme More. Overall, there's not much to say about Scream & Shout, except that it serves as an unfortunate precursor to Britney's own album that would be released over 12 months later.
97. ROBIN THICKE F/ KENDRICK LAMAR - Give It 2 U
Robin Thicke was definitely someone that nobody in the mainstream world was thinking of when discussing who would dominate 2013. While Thicke took over the world with the title track from his sixth studio album Blurred Lines, there was another single that also deserves some love from me. Give It 2 U is a pretty awesome track (produced by Dr. Luke) that sounds amazing when blasted in your car, or even on your iPod. The main version of the song features a fire verse from Kendrick Lamar, while the remix also features 2 Chainz (the King). In hindsight, it's understandable why Give It 2 U didn't explode like Blurred Lines did, but it's still a very cool & experimental track for Robin.
94. BRITNEY SPEARS - Alien
Alien is the opening track from Britney's eighth studio album Britney Jean, and the song is (in my opinion) the best track on the album. Produced by William Orbit, Alien features lyrics that allude to Britney wanting to "go back home" and just "return to where she came from". You can't help but feel that Britney so desperately wants to move to a ranch in Louisiana with her two boys and her man and just leave the business altogether. You could hear the deep emotion in her voice, which adds to the mystery of the song. Sadly, the rest of the album couldn't live up the expecations that her fans had. It's very clear that the album was created primarily as a platform for Britney's Vegas residency at Plant Hollywood (tickets are on-sale now!). All I could ever hope is for that Britney does what truly makes her happy in life. That's all that has to be said.
93. KATY PERRY - Legendary Lovers
Katy Perry's long-awaited album PRISM was finally released in 2013, and Legendary Lovers is a track that is absolutely phenomenal. The production is so top-notch and crisp, and the Middle Eastern influences shine ever so bright through the track that I can just shed a tear while listening to the song. Legendary Lovers is Katy at her most experimental (musically), and I hope she continues to progress in the future. It's just a euphoric track that's so absolutely catchy that you can't help but wish you had a legendary lover to love.
92. LIL WAYNE F/ DRAKE & FUTURE - Love Me
Love Me is the third single from Wayne's I Am Not a Human Being II, and the track is one of the best on the entire album. It's no secret that Wayne isn't in his lyrical prime anymore, so the best way to approach a Lil Wayne project is to listen to the music itself & not the lyrics. The song is soared into astronomical heights by Future & Drake's flawless hook. When you hear I'm on that good kush & alcohol, you already know the party is about to rise up to epic proportions. 2014 is the year that Wayne is expected to release his final studio album Tha Carter V, and although I can't say if he'll return to his pre-2010 level of lyricism, expect to hear a few bangers on the album.
91. JAY Z - Picasso Baby
2013 year has been a triumphant year for Mr. Carter with the release of his record-breaking twelfth studio album Magna Carta Holy Grail. Picasso Baby is a musical art-piece in more ways than one. The premise of the song is to broadcast Jay's love of classical and modern art, and he more than accomplishes that. What makes the song so great is Timbaland's production on the song, in which he thoroughly is about to transform a painting into music. The production is so rich, and it's the production itself (like with most of the album) that carries the song into new heights. 2014 will be another landmark year for Jay, as he enters the year with a sold-out world tour and as the most nominated artist (9) of the 2014 Grammy Awards.
