1D beating Gaga and Katy isn't really that big of an accomplishment. Gaga and Katy may have two of the biggest stanbases on ATRL, but in real life, 1D's stanbase is MUCH larger than either of theirs.

The only artists that sells promo singles better than 1D does is Taylor Swift. Still, that doesn't make her stanbase bigger than 1D's, as 1D tends to crush her in fan-voted awards.

You are correct. I missed that.

Though we all know it was a gimmick since EVERY person watching the Youtube Music Awards (whether they gave a **** about her or not) counted as a stream. ... and as far as I know these types of streams have never counted for anyone else.

But it could be more, I don't know. It's hard to predict Streaming, you don't know if this video is everywhere but not that much in the U.S. I remember pretty well that WB video had like 32M of video views, and that was around the 30% of the Total Views in the first week. I'm taking the same 30% for this viral video, although if you ask me, we could be talking about 14.5-16M

Well there should be also additional views from her AMA performances (although I don't know if they are counted, but should IMHO), and they probably are quite local and could give additional ~1M streams to WB all together.
Anyway I also think about 15M +-1M streams for WB this week.

They counted the views of the Dope performance so they probably count yeah
