Like I said, does it matter if she's produsing smashes? Nope. Because she has no real respect anymore, not to mention most of the songs on her album were written and recorded while she was drunk and are crappy anyway. Sure, Kelly isn't a master songwriter yet, but she can beat Avril anyday. I havent heard much flack directed toward Kelly, but loooots of people I know think Avril is a preppy skank. So who has the real smash? Definitely not Avril.

And LMAO at the Breakaway thing. It was directed at the teenyboppers, but it was good teenybopper crap. :P

RCA predicts strong first couple weeks and a fast fall if she can't produce a hit. I don't think the album is even going number #1 in any major market. And without a hit to sustain it....FLOP!

Don't get me wrong...the repeat buyers from 'Breakway' will help her for a while but it won't sell the whole album.

A) HDD predicted it won't come in at #1. So I don't see where this #1 ******** came from.

B) An album can debut at number 1 and still be a commercial disappointment. She could sell 300k her first week and fall like a rock and only end up selling 600k in total.

Its very naive to think your first week chart position makes your album a hit.

It's also naive t think that just because it doesnt have high chart positions to think it's a flop. And predictions dont always come true. Who knows what could happen. Besides, even if it does flop, it's proved that Kelly is growning as an artist and as a vocalist.

I never said an album not having a high chart position makes it a flop. Avril's 'Let Go' never debuted at #1 in America but managed to go 6x platinum and sell 16 million copies WW. 'Breakaway' had a similar run.

But those albums had HITS to sustain sales. Something 'My December' does not have. That's why I predict its going to be a disappointment.

I'm glad Kelly didnt make Breakaway part II. Even if it means more hits, i'd rather have Kelly do what she believes in than something she is force to do. Besides i can relate to this album more than Breakaway.
