I think giving 10s or 0s in a rate is kinda "stupid" as none of this songs are perfection or utter amateur crap but, looking at it from a stan's point of view, I can tolerate why.

Personally, I never see the rates I give absolute, I always try to see them in context of the rate. Like, my favorite songs and those I consider the best songs of the rate compared to all the other participating songs, those are the ones I give 10s. Not because I think the songs itself are 100% perfection

Well, you see. If there is a reason, like the one you explained, I get it. After all if you vote relatively to what's involved in the rate is normal you give the best song a 10. I always think that 0s are biased and dismissive of someone's work, though.

yeah, I don't give 0s either. only 1s and those are very rare, I only use them for strategic voting - if I really want to damage a song's average If I didn't even do that and just rated by quality, I'd never give anything lower than 4.

That's exactly how I work too It's very rare that I use strategy in rates btw.
For example my lowest vote in this rate was a 4,5. I had to say this just cause I don't stand the heavy trolling, that's all
