Most stans of many artists and musicians like to celebrate their careers, especially at their apex. Ain't nothing wrong with remembering good times or analyzing in retrospect. If it was, artists like The Beatles or Michael Jackson wouldn't be remembered today.

Everyone that voted for stans of artists past their primes will also be "living in the past" once their fave peaks or the GP stops looking like they don't give a damn about their newer projects... whichever comes first.

Considering who my favorite artists are, Im living in the past all the time and Im enjoying it, because Im proud of them even when they are not on their peaks/around anymore. But they are remembered and their discographies still ***** on most of the artists around today, so Im not bothered

Madonna is not irrelevant though. Maybe on the radio and on the charts, but she just had the highest grossing tour of 2012. Not only that, but she is constantly talked about in the media. New articles are flowing in all the time. People are still very interested in her, and this is why the Madonna fans still have A LOT to brag about right now.
