Being "more popular than" is not just about record sales. It's about star power, commercial reliability, etc. And there was indeed a time when Janet was more popular than MJ. I know it's a tough pill to swallow, but the facts are facts.

If you actually read my prevoius post, I already stated this. Charts are Janets srtong point. Janet is beaten in sales by her contemporaries(Madonna, Whitney, Celine and Mariah) but she beats them chart wise outside of Mariah and Madonna.
