And everybody in the world has issues. Tell me someone who is totally normal. Actually even being totally normal isn't normal.

I wasn't describing a single person. I was describing lots of people.
Wanting to not be surrounded by people is usually a feature of Schizoid and Schizotypal PDs, and I guess the paranoia that goes along with PPD often leads to a schizoid sort of isolation. Obsessive-Compulsive PD sometimes involves constantly wanting to be alone, but it's usually because OCPD is all about efficiency and organizing time when it comes to life and work.
Wanting to have lots of people around you I guess would be considered the "norm." But I suppose people with Avoidant PD often want people they can talk to, though they're usually too anxious or nervous to initiate anything. They secretly want to be known. Boderline PD almost always goes hand in hand with a fear of being a abandoned. Histrionic PD involves a pathological need for attention. Dependent PD involves psychological dependence on other people.

I understand what you're saying, but I don't really think it applies to me. I'm actually a very outgoing person, and spend most of my time with friends and family. I've also told many of them about ATRL, so it isn't something I hide, even though it is strange when you think about it, I don't take it as seriously as so many other users.
Normally when I tell people about ATRL we all laugh, I tell them my username & we laugh some more, you have to admit it's funny, not only as a place but a hobby as well. You see, once I log off from ATRL, I don't think about Mariah Carey. I don't think about what she might be doing, I don't stalk her Twitter, I just don't invest myself like that. Stanning is just an ATRL thing. Sometimes when I meet people at school who like music, I'll ask them about the girls then bring it back here, but It's not so deep that I think I might have any disorder or something.

Anyway, I've dealt with depression my whole life. I was officially diagnosed with PTSD my senior year in high school even though I think I've had it my whole life after dealing with my dad molesting me and being raped when I was 15. I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar disorder almost 2 years ago. I think it might have stemmed from my depression and me suppressing it. ADHD... isn't anything serious, in my opinion. I think everyone has it to some extent, I've just been officially diagnosed. It actually helps me out with my school work.

I'm sorry for all that stuff that happened to you.
But I'm glad your play and living successfully.

You might have symptoms from all of them, but see a mental health professional for a real diagnosis, if you want to. Also, Wikipedia is your friend for learning about mental health. It's extremely helpful and the articles are almost always accurate.

+1, I just like music and that's why I'm here.
I don't have any mental health issues.

Yeah I'm good. There have been some very dark periods in my life where I honestly didn't give a ****. I wouldn't say I was ever suicidal, but I was just very unhappy. When you go through things and you're brain constantly replays them in your head it's hard to progress in life. I am a living testament saying talking about it makes it better. No one may not even understand, but just letting it out will make it better.

!!!
ATRL only goes off ATRL for me in terms of showing people really funny GIFs and arguments.
Theres plenty of studies that show theres nothing unhealthy about forums/online social communities. In fact, they can often be better because you're choosing people by interests, not geography. It can be very helpful for LGBT youth to have a place like ATRL where they can discuss their interests without fear of being shamed.

I have most of the symptoms. Like, I didn't really pay attention to it back then, but as I got older, I started researching it more and more and came to a conclusion. I can't tell you how I was diagnosed; it happened some time ago so I don't really remember the details on it. My memory is such a flop.

I understand you completely. I can relate.
But at that typo in my post though. I didn't even notice.

Wait, are you serious?
After I watched a documentary on them, sociopaths scare the **** out of me.
I don't think I have any, I was severely depressed and constantly thought of suicide a while back though.

I have some anger problems, but I don't need to be diagnosed to see it.

Wow, I really feel for all the guys in here with Depression. That's such a tough thing to get over and you never realise just how happy you can actually be until you're finished with it.
I'm fascinated by all this and I'd be curious to find out if I have any Mental Health Issues. I don't think I have anything of concern, just mild effects of certain disorders or just normal effects for someone my age.

I'm going through a rough patch with depression right now, its a major bitch.
The hardest thing with depression is your brain basically comes up with all these little tricks and excuses for you to not talk to anyone about it, or to try to hide it, and of course that only makes it worse.
