The album is full RAP tracks. Nicki does so to cater her Urban audience. Pop singles (Va Va Voom, Whip It, MM/Masquerade) will be left untouched and will still be released at the same time this album comes.

She officially burned that bridge imo tbh. The Urban audience doesn't do the whole back and forth thing. A LOT of comments that I read from "urban" sites/users online have shown that they're done with her (i.e. one user on KidFury's blog said "No matter how many 'Beez In The Trap' songs you make, you will forever be a popstar"). And coupled with her Romney/Reublican line that she got backlash for (especially from the urban audience), she is close to nonexistent in the urban sphere.

But anyway. I'm not going to jump up and down until I here the tracks. We'll see when she drops the first single.

I get what you guys are saying but the people you listed, Nicki is nowhere on their level. That's like me saying since Adele is signed to XL records, anyone else who signs to XL records is going to be just as successful as Adele. It's not necessarily the case. I think Nicki just needs to focus on selling music and stop trying to please everyone because that's what's getting her into this mess of "catering to her urban audience." I think Urban has definitely washed their hands of Nicki and rightfully so (but that's another convo for another day).

The new tracks are for Urban.
There aren't really urban songs left to release on PF:RR (only Champion & HOV Lane could work, SITL & RH are 100% not being released as singles, COAC isn't radio friendly & RR was a promo single, GS is too risky imo & FB would work better as an RnB single like RBMS.)

Songs like Automatic are arguable. But even PTA and Whip It have their fair share of urban.
