Superstar Dj David Guetta regrets not working with Lady Gaga on her Born This Way album because he felt the tracks were "very disappointing" as a result.
Gaga's not wrong for changing up her style, or else she'll sound repetitive. I'm glad she did BTW so that she'd be known for someone capable of diversity. But ARTPOP came in the right time to go back to her roots.
English isn't his first language so I don't think he articulated himself well here.
I think he meant it was personally disappointing to him because it referenced musical trends of the 80s rather than providing innovative sounds, which she is capable of. He was complimenting her potential, if anything.
As for the point of, it was disappointing cause it didn't have me on it, I think he meant something more a long the lines of being disappointment that he wasn't able to contribute like he wanted to. He he a lot of respect for her, after all.
That's not what he said though, He said that Born This Way was disappointing, and he was right.
That's not what he said though, He said that Born This Way was disappointing, and he was right.
Yeah but he's also saying that it's disappointing because he didn't work on it That's not cute at all. I guess we're all free to our own opinions and I wouldn't have minded a few tracks from him.... But the statement is pretty bleh.
Ehhh even if he didn't like BTW it would've been worse with Guetta. Whether good or bad at least Born This Way felt somewhat different and imaginative. David Guetta is the definition of a basic and irritating dj at this point.
The guy only has like 2 usable tracks on each of his albums
