Not to continue this, but the last photo of Katy and Gaga shows both stars wearing clothes by the same designer from the same line within a few months of each other. I think the general consensus is that once Gaga wears something, you must wait at least a year before you wear something very similar. She is, according to the Council of Fashion Designers of America, a fashion icon. That alone should prompt you to avoid comparisons to her unless you want to be labeled under the "influenced" category. This entire thread is about influence, not copying. Vanity Fair basically confirmed the purpose of this thread.

All of these examples in this thread can be found already done by Aguilera. The 3 listed inspirations falls to artists like her not Stefani.

Honestly I think it's more so the people who pick the outfits faults. I mean I guess there's no possible way to know what Gaga or Katy will wear but if it's been worn before it most likely will be worn again. Happens all the time.

I agree with you, but Gaga represents a brand and team, as does Katy Perry. It's up to both the star and her stylist to create a unique look or persona and avoid looking heavily influenced by industry competition. Katy has many unique styles and looks, but she also borrows quite a bit from Gaga without realizing it. Nicki Minaj, on the other hand, wants to be Lady Gaga and is directly to blame in this situation.

 She doesn't dress "normal" She's dressed classy during TFM era too sis  And right now she usually doesn't even look normal with the huge hair/eccentric dresses she's wearing. Maybe you just have a different definition of normal. I mean Katy Perry's new "dark" image isn't copying or?

Nicki. Ke$ha shouldn't be there. There's no Gaga in her. "JD" was not some creative piece that sounded so different than the stuff RedOne had on Kat DeLuna's album.

In terms of fashion it would be Nicki, but Gaga hasn't really inspired any of these artists musically.
