Also,Im my opinion, Google is gonna come for Apple's wig in the future. They already have Android, and their line of Chromebooks,(along with Google Chrome, one of the better internet browsers out there).Watch Google try to come up with some sort of music player like the iPod and watch them try to put some innovative Youtube capability in there too,You heard it here first if it does in fact happen.
Can we dispute the quality thing? I bought a Macbook some years ago (2008) and I've already put in about 1000 dollars of repairs in these last years. It's either the battery giving out completely, the screen having issues, etc. It's insane. My regular PC laptops have never had this type of sensitivity and they've held for 6 years or more without any trouble. I paid about 1200 back then for this laptop.
The iPad is the only thing I can vouch for. It's my little companion and for what I use it for, it serves its purpose. I just use it to lie down, watch Netflix, surf the net or check email.
The iPods I feel are a bit overpriced as well, except the shuffle.
iPhones can suck it - I own a nice Android phone that works just as well as iPhone and does just about everything too.
Apple has THE BEST costumer service, and guess where that money from the products go? If you want a cheap Mac, iPad, iPhone or any iDevice go to the refurb store on Apple.com the products are basically new because people returned them in the first few days. You also get a warranty and everything for the much lower price. If you still can't afford it add a discount one of them is the student discount. If you still can't afford it, get a job and save up or buy a Windows PC or Android.
Apple has amazing build quality, great customer service, and overall great system. You can buy cheap things, and spend money fixing it and buying the same cheap quality products, or buy an expensive but good quality product.
I think they are worth the money. Generally, Apple products last a lot longer than other kinds, especially when it comes to computers. I'm not saying that they don't have problems though, but they are less common on Macs based on my personal experiences anyway. I just love the design of them as well. Each Apple product is so refined, innovative and immaculate. They are so user-friendly and efficient. I haven't used Windows since 2009.
So damn overpriced that I cannot even afford it (Mac). Not saying that they don't deserve a high tag given the quality of their products but they could use some price slashing tbh.
