Would you punch your fave in the face if she "hit" you first?
Like I said before, there is a biological difference between men and women. A grown man hitting or fighting a grown woman is the same scientifically as a grown man fighting a teenage boy. I'm 5'3, just 2 inches below the average height of a grown woman, most grown men are 5'8 and higher. I don't hit guys on a daily, but I have slapped one for getting disrespectful before, he didn't hit back because that's the "right" thing to do. I can understand a shove, or grabbing, but punching and stuff? No.
What does anyone's fave have to do with it? I've already said my piece, but like that kind of comment I'm just noting you're getting dramatic.

That guy deserved to get his ass kicked. Snookie did NOTHING, and did not deserve getting punched like that. It made me sick. There is a huge difference between attacking and defending yourself from someone who didn't birth you, raise you, or do a damn thing for you feeling like they have the damn right to put their hands on you for doing nothing. No one deserves to be hit at all. People need to learn self restraint and lose the egos. You don't own the planet.

I don't know how to word this without sounding bad, but like when I was at school, boys would get into fights all the time. It wasn't that big a deal usually, it happened so often. A lot of the time it was in a playful kind of way. With a lot of other animals, the males fight each other to show their masculinity and dominance, and to get more females (by showing they're the strongest and eliminating competition). So I think males hitting males is wrong, but it's not something that full-on traumatizes me.
Whilst hitting a girl is even worse imo. Maybe it's because I'm straight, but girls are really beautiful, and it would be literally break my heart to see a girl get hurt like that.
But yes, I think it's wrong for a gay guy to hit a girl (unless it's in an extreme situation like if the girl had a gun and was about to murder somebody). I think it's wrong for a lesbian to hit a straight guy, or for a straight guy to hit a straight guy. People shouldn't hit each other imo.

Most of the woman-beaters in this thread get happy, sad, angry, joyful, seethe, fume, and live for a person with a vagina. That's how your fave's come into it. You mean to tell me a forum full of men who seemingly idolize 5 or 6 women would have no problem beating them? This thread is super ignorant, and I may be dramatic, but that's because it's an issue that hits home, the same way certain issues hit home for the majority of ATRL.
I'm a grudge holder, and have a lot of pride. I'd want to shoot him.
If a man beat the **** out of your mother or grandmother, you'd want to kill him, I'm sure.
Of course. I'd probably want them eviscerated but, I am a level headed individual who would let the justice system take care of it. It's not worth ruining my life, and in turn hurting my whole family in my absence, over someone else who has no self control or home training. Life is too short.

I'm not talking about the circumstances or details of Snooki's situation, I'm highlighting the power difference between men and women. 9/10 a man hitting a woman will look like that.
Domestic violence is never okay, and neither is senselessly beating someone. And of someone is seriously trying to **** you up, you exercise self defense and fight back. But men are naturally more powerful than women, so you are at an automatically unfair advantage whenever a fight would be breaking out. So in that situation, you follow the unspoken (well, not really) code and avoid hitting her out of respect.
It's like how stealing is always wrong, but stealing from a child is wrong on another level. Or how insulting someone is always impolite, but spewing racist hate speech at a black person is worse. Hitting a woman is just one of he things you NEVER do.

This isn't about inequality, it's about the basic fact that men do possess more upper body strength than women (sexual orientation doesn't change anything). Definitely not something that's to our advantage, but it's an unfortunate reality. If we were equal in strength, women wouldn't always have to live in fear of being attacked by men.
No one's saying men should tolerate abuse from women, but you have ways of defending yourself that don't involve being brutal unless you truly have no other option.
